After Engineering
The transition into production is where a resolved design quietly becomes a different product: a substituted material, a reinterpreted tolerance, a finish nobody specified clearly enough.
We stay involved through quoting, tooling, sampling and early production so decisions made during development are the decisions the supplier actually builds to.
We support supplier sourcing and manufacturing rather than acting as purchaser of record. Where you need us managing purchasing directly, that is a separate, explicit arrangement.

Suppliers evaluated on process, product type, materials, volume, geography, quality, tooling capability, technical depth and communication.

You do not have to abandon relationships that work. We work with your existing suppliers and contract manufacturers, suppliers we introduce, or suppliers selected jointly.

A quote is only comparable if the brief was. We prepare supplier briefs and CAD/specification packages, then clarify and compare what comes back.

Unit price alone is not a decision. Tooling, lead time, quality systems, communication, process capability, assembly and scalability all carry cost later.

We remain available through supplier DFM review, tooling, sampling, production preparation, assembly and troubleshooting.

Production CAD, drawings, specifications, BOM information, finish requirements and assembly notes — the package a supplier can build from without guessing.

Tooling review, supplier feedback reconciliation, design adjustments, sample review and tool changes through to production readiness.

Pilot builds expose what prototypes cannot: assembly sequence problems, operator error, tool access, cosmetic defects and supplier interpretation.

First production components evaluated against CAD, specification, fit, finish, function, assembly and original design intent.

Support continues after production starts — resolving supplier issues, improving assembly, reducing cost and refining process and quality.
Terminology
We use the word procurement only where we are genuinely managing purchasing or supply transactions on your behalf. Everywhere else this is sourcing, evaluation and technical support.
